Ok, I know I have a buffer but I still can’t believe I’m updating 3 weeks in a row (if you count Witchprince, that is). Aaaaaah. Good feels.

To those of you who’ve stuck with me through the hiatus: I love you. To those of you who are just now stumbling into this thing: I love you as well, but don’t tell the others or they’ll get jealous.

As I’ve mentioned in the last couple of newsposts:

Witchprince is launched today! Only the cover is up and you’ve seen that already if you’re following my tumblr, but still… Let’s have an epic launchparty over there! Next week I’ll upload the first real comic page over there.

ThemaoR resumes updating 26 march and will continue updating on uneven weeks.
Witchprince will launch 26 march as well (site opens, cover will be uploaded) and will continue updating on even weeks.

You know, if you people’d just settle for my horrible sketches, I would have relaunched ThemaoR months ago… (/jk, /jk, coloring is my favorite thing ever!)

I have some more news about the relaunch for you, by the way!
Good news: I think I’ll be able to relaunch a bit sooner than I had expected. Of course, I never gave you people a date so that doesn’t really matter to you, does it? So, yay! Relaunch, soon-isher than I personally had planned!
Bad news: I’m going to switch to fortnightly updates instead of weekly!

“Boo! I don’t know what fortnightly means!” Fortnight is a word I learned in high school English, one I like very much. Just like queue, and pickle. It means 2 weeks! So every other week, there will be a ThemaoR update (starting with the relaunch, of which I haven’t given you a date yet, haha!).
“But why, why would you do this to us?” Because I’m also going to launch a 2nd webcomic and I need time to draw them both, and draw other stuff, and, you know, work. There will be a weekly comic update, they’ll just alternate. So ThemaoR one week, other comic the other week.
“But I don’t want to read any other comic by you!” That’s too bad, because I’m totally forcing you to do it anyway.
“Will it at least be anything like ThemaoR?” It’s a sappy romance.
“Hurghhhh…” Indeed.
“I guess at least once every two weeks is better than once every never.” There you go!

For those of you who enjoy looking at empty “coming soon” pages, the new project will soon be launched here.

As the title of this post states, I am currently working on a buffer. That means that I am starting to draw pages for ThemaoR again, but not uploading them yet. I don’t have an official relaunch time in mind, but it can take a while still. Just know that I’m working on it again! Aah, I just can’t seem to quit you, can I? :)

I’m not setting up notifications or anything, but you can keep an eye on my twitter for news. My sketchblog (moved to tumblr) will be a home for many, many sneak previews because I love posting sketchies. I have a handy ThemaoR tag in place, for those of you who are only interested in these characters, and not my other doodles. My tumblr feed automatically updates to twitter too. The wonders of modern technology! ;P

So, yeah. I’m super excited! o_o

Well this probably doesn’t come as a big surprise! I could start ranting about the how and why but mostly I’m just really bored with this story, and I decided to be selfish and only draw things I really want to. ThemaoR might some day return, and when it does, I’ll make sure I have a mega buffer before I start uploading again XD

If you want to keep an eye on what I do, my devART page will occasionally be updated with finished pieces, and my sketchblog will continue to be updated regularly with all the things I want to draw instead of this comic. I do still really love all of my ThemaoR characters so they will show up on there, in case you need to get your kickass amputee pirate fix ;)

So, um, yes, Paintercrashes galore during this one… There was a pretty pretty chain tied to the boat that got lost in one of the crashes that I really didn’t feel like redrawing again… So if it reappears in the next page, don’t be surprised! It’s actually really there… >_>;;;

Observant readers will notice Jill seems to have packed on a few pounds since she scoffed at you from the chapter cover! This is because a) I can’t actually draw and messed up the sketch for her and b) why not have a slightly chubbier person in the comic, huh? Disclaimer: this is not to say that I think all chubby people are mean boatstealing piratewenches.
