The book I’ve been reading is Let The Right One In! I can recommend it! If you’re into vampires that don’t sparkle, gory things, little boys who get teased and pee their pants and pedophiles. Err. >_>;;;

Ever since I decided on adding this sequence (some time last year) I was struggling to come up with ways to show what’s going on, without really showing what’s going on. It’s not that I can’t stand gore, it’s just that this thing is supposed to be rated PG-13-ish and you can’t have babies bursting out of their mother’s belly and still keep that rating. By the way, I don’t like putting a rating on this but that’s mostly because in the Netherlands ratings aren’t super strictly enforced. Anyway, in the end I decided on silhouettes. Spooky and effective, haha XD

Anyway, today while finishing this up I was watching a playthrough of The 7th Guest on youtube. When I was still a wee young lass, age 10 or so, my parents bought that game and I used to watch them and my older sister play. It freaked me the fuck out, oh my god. Nightmares I tell you! I couldn’t even watch the intro cutscene with the little girl coughing without plugging my ears. Coughing freaked me out. I was a tender little child.
Seeing it now, this all seems kind of hilarious. But, to get to my point, father-of-the-baby didn’t have a name yet, so I dubbed him ‘Henry’, after Stauf! :D

Also! I recently switched to Paint Tool Sai for my inking, because I love how the inking brush in that program works. Super thin and super thick lines with one stroke? Wtfawesome!
As I was inking this week though, the trial period rolled over to ‘expired’ and I lost half a page worth of inking *siiiiigh* (you can’t save or copy paste into another program when the trial period is over). Buying a license with the page still open didn’t work by the way. So kids, if you use this program, make sure you keep your eye on the little trial timer that counts down the days and if you like it, buy the license to use it BEFORE it rolls over to ‘expired’. Don’t be stupid like me.

Votebait is the same as last week, because I can’t think of stuff to draw. So if you have any ideas, let me know ;)
